I am going to clean the pipe this week. It is 6" double wall stainless. I have a metal Rutland brush. Should I use a poly type?

Yeah, if you had a sweep do it he/she/it would use the metal brush. If in fact poly versus steel is an issue it is more with flex liners.

I have used both in my flex liner and I know of a company that has used nothing but steel in them for 13 years with no problem.
