I'm taking a break right now, its hot moving stacks to the shed, only around 70°F but still hot. I wanted to do this in the fall, but it was a crisp morning, and I was in the mood to do it so, wife and son helped. I have more wood than I thought for this season, so I am trying to figure out where it can go thats closer to the house. The pics below are just are my loads and what is left of 3 cords on the one rack. I'll post more pics later. So far between the wood shed and another stack there is 3 cords ready, but I still need to move another 1.5 for this year and finish the kindlin from seasoned pine splits. Then move 2015/16 wood from a pile to the racks and begin the 2017/18 pile. Whew!

Didn't get too much more done. I need to finish next weekend, where I'll put another cord on both sides of the shed. There is a pile of uglies that I'll use during SS and weekends. Lots of snakes today, but too quick to snap a picture.

Nice job WS, we took the day off too, we did about a five hour trip on a new 2 B four wheeler/snowmobile trail.

I think mine was over a year before I washed it. Right now it appears to not have been washed for several years. We are super dry and the dust is bad. So, I was working up some ground and wow, how that dust did fly. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it washed.

Dennis, as much rain as we recieved over the summer, I'm surprised at the amount of dust I was kicking up as well. I'll finish up next weekend hopefully if the weather permits. Below is a better picture now that the sun is down. The fence is so nobody falls off the cliff. ;)

Good job, WS. I like the shed. I really need to build one of those.

Thx Al. It is only for the seasoned stuff. By the time I go through what is on the deck, across from the shed, and outside both sides, the snow and frigid temps start and I turn to whats in the shed. Its just a simple lean to that I added to the main shed, and it holds approx 2.5 cords of the bigger splits.

Yes Al, yes you do.:p;)
You are right, Dave. The only issue is that the town requires a permit for everything. And I don't know if they'll issue one for a wood shed. Too many regs in NY.

Looks great...
