I'm thinking about having a metal rectangular storage tank
built aprox 450 gal. mild steel, non pressurized with copper
heat coils.

Is there any additive that can be added to the storage water to
inhibit corrosion? Or will epoxy paint ie pool paint work? Stainless
is obviously more expensive and I'd rather use the extra money
on other parts if possible..

Any input appreciated MM

I'd think that the corrosion inhibitor that they sell for OWBs would help.
