Stove/Insert options

Hi, my brother has a chimney in the center of his house. The firebox is small 27" wide opening x 20"deep tapering to 15" wide at the back and 25" tall.
Does anyone have any suggestions on stoves or inserts that will fit.

Add a picture of the hearth area, it would greatly assist, and home description as well.

There are inserts that will fit like the Jotul C450, but whether that is sized correctly for the area being heated is unknown. Likewise it may be out of budget or not the style they like. We need more info on this to make recommendations. If you or he can post a picture of the current hearth, that would also help.
