All - any experience painting older wood stoves? I own a VC Resolute II or III (1979 cast - two swing out doors) and no matter how thinly I spray the paint on (Rustoleum / SemiGloss / High Heat stove paint) it always chips off when it cures. The stove was thoroghly brushed and cleaned prior to paiting. I'd rather not strip the whole stove and start from scratch so any advice appreicated.

Spring is almost here -time to fell some trees! I have some greedy norway & red maples that need to take down!
