oh no, dont mistake me. i burn pine, and im proud of it. but east is better than west because we have the CHOICE of burning it.

I'm just to the east of the Cascades...Oregon's "dry side". High desert, little rain. Strange Brew...one of my favorite movies. Rick

Just too sappy around here, great camp wood though. Yeah I know the pioneers and everyone up to the present has burned mountain pine to survive. God bless 'em. At this 10 digit grid it's all about me and there's no indoor burning of any Pine.

I would burn pine... but alas.. here in the middle, I have none. just acres and acres of hardwoods... split and stacked a cord of cherry this morning..
