Summer Reading thread - what r u reading lately?

Bunch of free KINDLE books, latest was "The Education of Henry Adams." written about 100 years ago.

Why do we use the term "Summer Reading", anyway? Seems like only kids have more time to read in the Summer; I do most of my heavy reading in the Winter, when there aren't as many outdoor and canning chores. Also gives me another excuse to sit by my stove.;)

I just get their free books. If I pay for books I want to be able to share them. We use the library and a great local used book store instead.

The obvious exception of hearth.com aside, I really only find time to read for enjoyment on the beach. I'm only on the beach in the summer. Summer reading.
 
Do audio books count ? I go through them like water & coffee ! By the way I don't have summer reading hours I have man I am bored... Time to read hours year round.
