Hi Everybody,

I would like to have a survey on the consumption of pellets on different pellets stoves, furnaces and boilers. Of course the location and the house condition are also important factors. Please provide the following information:

Pellet stove/furnace/boiler maker, model and labeled capacity (BTU):
How many tons of pellets consumed last winter:
Pellet brand:
House style, square foot and year built:
House location (City and State):

Sample answer:

Quadra, 1200i, 4200BTU

Ranch, 1600sqf, 1950
Western Boston, MA

Thanks

Not really sure where you are going with this. I can't see that any meaningful data can be derived from the raw items, except who owns what and what they burn. Maybe if you gave us more information about what you would like to know, we can refer you to a source where more information is available. Your question is kind of like, "What car do you drive, what gas and how much do you burn?" It is very possible that there is an answer already on a forum, or in the Wiki, or at a related site.

Just a survey. The result may be useful for somebody planning to buy a pellet stove to chose a right stove and store reasonable amount of pellets. It may also useful for somebody who own a stove already to see if his/her stove works efficiently by comparing with similar others. Many things are meaningful to somebody but do not to others.

If you think it totally doesn't make sense, please ignore it. If you think you can change it to make more sense, please do it.
