We used the last of the weeks supply of would that I had brought up to the house last night, and since we are going out at lunchtime today and not coming back for awhile, I figured I'd just let the electric baseboard heat do it's job and burn tomorrow.

Even though the thermostats and thermometers that I have randomly scattered around the house read 70 degrees... It's freaking COLD IN HERE!

Can't wait to get the stove going tomorrow, HA!

It's -5C outside here now (76F inside) but the weather guesser thinks it will go up to +3C today, so I'm contemplating letting the fire go out.

Speaking of weather guessers, they are calling for mainly sunny on Groundhog Day.

Ya, it got into the low 20's yesterday and we let ours go out for few hours in the afternoon. Almost needed kindling to start from scratch. Forecast 33 today for our only thaw until next week.

Time to think Spring!
