Hey Guys,
I'd like to keep a closer eye on my exhaust gas temperature. I'm running a Country Stove insert so the standard stove pipe thermometer is not an option. Yes I already have one of the magnetic style thermometers stuck to the top but that really doesn't answer the question nor does it react very quickly. So my thought is to use the same type of thing we put on our diesel trucks to keep an eye on EGT. I've looked around for a similar device for wood stoves but have not turned anything up. Has anybody ever tripped over such a thing or have any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help!
