Called guy about this unit, it is a 1995 and he wants $7000. It is excel 2000 but not a multi fuel. He did say it is a 230,000 btu. Not what I am looking for but maybe one of you might be interested.
Does anybody know what has changed in the TARM since 95 ? Mostly cosmetic or meanignful performance changes ?

I have a 1987 Tarm 2000 series gasifier (no oil burner) and from what I can tell they are exactly the same as the 2007 models besides the color. "If it aint broke don't fix it" right ?
If it's not multi fuel then $7000 is no screaming bargain. A Solo Plus 60 is quoted online for ~ 8000.
On the other hand... you could probably get it in less than 4 months.
