I recently purchased the 5 ton Taskforce splitter at Lowes. How do I get the hydraulic cap off? The little hex key that is supposed to loosen the cap doesn't want to do the job. That cap is screwed on super tight. Any suggestions?

Hi CD

I suspect many of us don't know about that splitter. Can you show us a picture? I don't know why it would be on so tight.

It is the one Lowes sells. If you force the cap and ruin it, lowes will take it back for up to 60 days? I would get it working well
before your time runs out.
