In the instruction manual there is a way to calculate the amount of heat transfered from the source (boiler) to the storage tank using the controller.

What would be the flow rate with a taco 007 pump and 1 11/4" copper supply and return.?

A lot of the differential controllers will calculate total BTU's. The gothcha is that they need an accurate flow rate. There are so many variables in a system's total head loss at any given flow rate I'm pretty skeptical about estimates. I wish flow meters in the sizes needed for hydronic piping weren't so expensive.
