I have (regrettably ) a TEMPCO Fireplace Insert (non-vented) ?? This has a TEMCO model BL-1 blower with intake and plenum on the lower and supposedly output at the top of the insert .We changed out the logs when we purchased the house to get larger logs for the propane system. We do seem to experience seem fumes when we first ignite, but this subsides after about 20 min. We are now at the point we need to replace the blower but as this company is apparently out of business, does anyone have any experience with aftermarket blowers that might be compatible ??

Further to this note, the Insert is a TEMPCO ADL42-5 and the Logs are Vermont Casting's Logs for Unvented fireplaces.
