Gonna get my draft tested when I get my chimney cleaned. I have about 30' of lined ss inside a brick chimney. My previous stove a hearthstone needed a turn damper to slow down the burn. I upgraded to a bk Ashford last year. Was told the stat could handle my draft. Burns were fast. Way too fast. Put in a turn damper. Mixed results.

Here is my question- do I need to wait till its colder to get my draft tested? Stove cold? I'd like to provide the numbers to bk to get this running right.

What are you seeing for burn time with a full load of fuel? Draft is going to change as it gets colder, but having it done now will set a minimum baseline. Draft will only get stronger as it gets colder outside.

sorry for the delayed response. boy this got buried quick!

burn times are about 8-10. worked with BK last year some on it. gonna pick up where i left off when i start burning.
