The Graduate

My stepson graduated high school over the weekend. I have known him since he was three. He's a big boy now. Mrs. Flatbedford and I are proud of our boy.

Congrats on getting him through. So many these days don't even make it that far.

Thanks guys. It wasn't easy either. He's not exactly an academic over achiever. We are hoping that he'll find something he likes and develop a better work ethic when he starts at the local community college in the fall. Being a kid seems much more complicated now than 20 years ago.

The DD did community college for 2 years, then moved on to SUNY Brockport. It's a good thing !!

I think it will be a good thing too. Westchester Community College is said to be one of the best in the country. Mrs. Flatbedford studied radiography there a few years ago and got a great education. You get your diploma from were you finish, not where you start.
