The most Economical/Green DHW

I'm looking for opinions from the collective here.

I have a Tarm gasification unit that provides literally tons of great DHW.

I'm looking for the next most economical to operate as well as as green as possible system to provide DHW in the off season or when I am not home to take care of the boiler. Solar is of course a good one, but where I live not very reliable. just a little history, I have a son with a disability and because of that I use lots of hot water.
