Isreal just put a load of HE into several trucks loaded with Smart land-air rockets headed for Lebanon. That should bump up the oil market tomorrow. Gas prices in my village went up 40cents in a week and half.

Been thinking about generating some with solar for fun. Making it is pretty easy. Storing it...that's the tough part.

My local propain dealer just put up two more large tanks, has now six and is filling them as fast as he can. He figured that the price would nearly double by next heating season. Scary.

I have a hard time believing this. Problem with it being that high is it causes economic downturn, which in turn reduces demand and sends it back down.

You'd be better off getting your house taken care of in area of its heat loss, then she who must be kept warm won't have reason to use those instruments of torture.

Prices will show the increase of fuel for transport. If it hits the road it will hit your pocket book. The manufacture cost of electricity is going up because Obama had the EPA lean on the coal fired electric plants and so I think seven were shut down? My electric rates for normal time electric usage went from 8cents to 12 cents a killowatt before peak fees and monthly hookup fee. China was just named as the #1 user of coal on Bussiness News Today. Look at their air!

The electric rates through ISO New England increased by a factor of 5 last week. We even had to shut down for them Monday night because demand was high and our demand response broker said the price was up to $900/MWh but I didn't see it that high in the hourly data.
Supposedly it's back to normal now but who knows if it will stay that way.
