Didn't find anything in the archives so...
I have an outbuilding with a wood stove. The pipe goes straight up through the ceiling. There is currently no protection where it passes thorough the ceiling, however I can tell something used to be there at one time. Thought I would check out what's needed here before going to a stove shop, that way they'll think I know what I'm talking about. It seems pretty straightforward so hope I've give enough detail.
