Friend of mine decided to extend his back yard which required to drop alot of trees and he let me take all of the wood. He probably still has another 15-20 trees to drop which he is going to start this weekend. Its mostly spruce and jack pine but there were a couple poplar trees and one nice big paper birch that is buried on the very bottom of the pile.

Nice. Poplar and paper birch will be ok when it isn't bitter cold, and make great kindling. The pines will burn pretty hot, and it's always nice to have a big score like this.

Congrats.
