I have a PE Summit that I cleaned last weekend. The stove is only about 2 months old and I have very little build-up, just some flaky stuff at the cap.

Well I accidently split my baffle gasket in two doing the cleaing and need to replace. I've read I can do the 3/8" rope gasket and will.

I just need to know how the ends tie together. I've seen pictures but it still isn't clear to me.

Thanks

No need to tie it. As mellow stated, just cement it down.
