I am installing a wood stove in my basement. I want to put tile on the concrete and place the wood stove on top of it. I have a small hairline crack in the concrete and want to put a membrane on the concrete so that the crack will not transfer to the slate tile. Someone suggested redgard. Does anyone know of an isolation membrane I could use that is non combustible and heat tolerant. Not sure if redgard is.

Thanks!

I'm not a tiler, but I would think regular cement board like durock or wonderboard would work.
