I have a Regency Greenfire and the stove is putting out heat but not as much as last year. My flame is short and brisk. I am burning MWP and they've done all right. Any suggestions?

Close the damper for the stove (its getting its combustion air from somewere) restrict the airflow. Iam not sure were its at on your model but 95 percent of pellet stoves have this feature

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that I've adjusted that several times. My stove burned great last year. I have 3 plates that surround the fire box and they can be removed. They seem to fit right but I keep thinking that the air is coming from behind the stove.

Check(plates) and double check, check all door sills (dollar bill test) make 1/4 inch adjustments on damper and wait 30 minutes and try again. Is it still short and fast with it closed all the way?
