And cleaned the stove and did the leaf blower trick.. Looked like a couple of old detroit diesels coming down my street . Stove is kicking ass this year.
 
I just did the leaf blower trick as well. I got in trouble from my wife for it too, she said that going up on the roof is her job! ;lol

It seems that my stove needs the leaf blower trick after every ton burned.

Great minds think alike, I did the leaf thing for the first time as well. Actually, I did my normal lint eater clean out first, just to see how much more ash the leaf blower gets. Definitely more, but nowhere near as much as some of those Youtube vids.

Oh, it wasn't 40 degrees here, more like 18 degrees when I was out there, but it felt like 40, after the single digits and below zero we've been having.
 
It got to a balmy 45 degrees here today. I took advantage and cleaned the flue and black pipe out really well. Bad cold coming tomorrow now I don't have to worry about a dirty flue. Bring on the cold baby!
