Hello , this is my first post . I hope I do it right ! This stove is dated 1988 . It has an old brick type thing with ten holes in it , as well as some soft fiberglass type pieces of blanket in the top inside below the flue. Is this "brick" an old combustion catalyst ? Does anyone have any info on how it was originally installed ? My brick is in three pieces . I would like to replace it . Thanks
