Looks like a thornless Honey Locust cultivar to me,going by the bark & leaves.

Ohhh just noticed the pods,that's a dead giveaway.Damn bifocals tricked me again lol

In might be in the sumac family maybe. There are 9 different species of sumac. How about a Japanese Pagodatree?

Thanks everyone, I think the wife would like some around the house, looks like I'll need some topsoil next spring (sandy soil around the house)then plant a few.
