Just put some turbulators in my Solo 30 and was wondering what to expect for changes in the performance and the way the boiler runs?

You should see cooler stack temps, more efficiency and lower wood use.

Just completed my first burn with the turbulators in place......stack temps were down to between 350 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit from 600 to 650.

what did you use for tubulators?

I used the turbulators that Tarm sells. I was to busy to make my own. I should have taken a picture before I put them in....sorry.

Typical stack temp reduction is 100-200F, usually closer to 100 than 200. If you have a little mechanical ability and time, don't shy away from making your own.
