Quite a variety there. Did uncle Steve ever try "Uncle Jeds cold Remedy" pellets or are they only sold in the land of cheese? Being new to this pellet stove thing I'd just like to know how they compare to whats out there.

Got those a couple years ago....maybe last year can't remember.....if memory serves, they are rebagged Hamer/Hardwood Heat for Home Depot......it's last bag that I have.....

All we have burned is the Uncle Jed's Cold Remedy. 2 tons came with our stove from the guy we bought it from. They have burned great. we live in wisconsin.

I also wonder what is comparable to them since we have to pick up a ton this month.

Send your question to forum member "Krooser" by PM....he's in Wisconsin also, and has burned Uncle Jeds quite a bit in the past, AFAIR.

Uncle Jerds are rebagged Pinnacle. Same as the Dragon Mountain. Uncle Jeds sometimes make it to upstate NY, But hardly ever wonder down this far. Dragon Mountain was not available this season. But Pinnacle is available in some area's of NY and MA. Very similar to Okanagan and Spruce Pointes. BC softwoods are so close you can hardly tell the difference.

Just a lil south of ya between Suamico and Pulaski.

5 miles west of 41 off of cty B.

Got a couple relatives living in Abrams.

oh that's real close Smoke.

Have you ever purchased pellets at that place on HWY 41 & CTY S that has the sign out $170 for hardwood pellets and $190 for softwood pellets?

We are thinking of checking them out.
