Dear Forum, Have a wood stove upland 207 prior 1984 cast iron, rear flue interior oval 8.5" x 5.25" 52,000 BTU, 2,500 SQ. FT. house with 8 ft. ceilings. Problem: need oval to 7" round coming out of rear in stove double wall black pipe. Can't find. any ideas or help could use. Thanks.

Webbie should be along before long to help. He used to own the Upland company.

Ace Hardware has the best selection of stocked adapters including 7 inch near me.

Back then we never used any official oval to rounds - on the upland, the crimped end of a 7" single wall stovepipe would fit inside the collar.

I'm not sure exactly how you are installing it, but if you are going to turn upward quickly then you can use a tee with a snout long enough to ovalize or possibly even insert the crimped end of an elbo in there. But none of these are double-wall. Fact is, the pipe can be much closed to the wall than the stove anyway, so this should not do you any harm.
