so my stove has a hard time igniting. I usually use a torch to light the pellets, I need to get some gel or something. In the mean time can I light a piece of paper, stick in there and light these pellets you think?

NO! use gel (cheap hand sanitizer works well...it's mainly alcohol)

I've used pvc sewer glue in a pinch, but the fume build up is extreme. Hand sanitizer works? I can steal that from work by the gallon, and my appliance will be germ free1

Hmmmmm...the germ free part is good. The stealing part....not so good. You can buy the stuff in a dollar store.

LOL, happy employees steal less.

this cracked me up.......LOL :)

Meh, it's alright. I store all my high dollar power tools there and they use them whenever instead of renting. At this rate and that price they owe me a 50gal drum. Someone needs to design a stove that runs on hand gel or pretzels. I have an abundance of both.

And I am a very hapy employee!! Which may or may not have to do w/the fact that I'm in charge of almost everything. All I could say when I finally get hired was "suckers" :-D

Another option is charcoal lighter fluid, the odorless type. People put some pellets in a small container and add some fluid. In the morning, or night, whatever the case may be they are ready to go. I have not tried the sanitizer but I think I will give it a try.

My pellet burner broke down so I'll have to try that later. It lights a wood fire w/dry wood just fine. I just tried it last night. Didn't seem as hot as the gel, but it may be my imagination.
