VC Vigilant Gaskets Questions

Hello;

I had a small amount of smoke coming from the griddle top and have the correct gaskets and cement on order.
What I am seeking is advice and know how on how best to replace this gasket and also the door gaskets which have glass in them.

I am interested in that info as well, Horvik. I hope to replace all the gaskets in my new-to-me vigilant in the coming summer. When you do yours I would love to see you do a photo essay/step by step documenting how it goes. Otherwise, I will continue looking for links on this topic.
