Biting the bullet and ripping out 40 year old tub/shower. We have a leak behind the shower valve so ceramic tile has to be removed. We are looking at a tub/shower that is acrylic-lile and looking specifically at veritek and the sterling products. The veritek a bit more expensive $800 vs. $680 but the veritek seems sturdier. The price includes the tub and the 3 walls. Both are calkless. Anyone here have experience with either one? They plumber said he would put both in a cement bed to make the tub a bit more grounded. Any for's or against either?
