Yes, definitely saving on birdseed this year. I actually finished leaf clean-up today. The buds on the quince bush are popping. Stove is out as I need to replace the door gasket, so great timing.

Otils and Tolland are a bit south and a bit west of us. We are on the Pocumtuk Range. 48 degrees, no wind so feeling downright balmy

Wow, that's a lot of green for this time of year. And why don't our birds slow down when it is warm? You should see the bills! No, not the ones on the birds, the ones that steal green from your purse.
