Viewing window gasket comes out

So Ill
I was cleaning the window and noticed the flat gasket has came out on the right side. I can push it back in with my finger. Window retainer screws are tight. The gasket is not damaged.

Should this gasket be cemented to the glass or to the door or both?
If so, what type of cement should I use?
