Probably a stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere yet. What are the things on the top in the back of the stove that have little round coils attached to metal rods going down the back of the stove on the outside. Are they wood pokers? Just seemed strange that they would be.

They are drying racks - pull them up and wiggle them out so they sit horizontal - then you can use to warm and dry gloves etc. - good thing to use if you keep an eye on the stuff you put on there - it is pretty close to the stove - so you don't want it to catch fire.
