A commemorative of the battle fought of the bluffs at the Long Island Sound, fought this weekend of the shores of the museum 200 years ago.

The locals fought a hard battle, but could not out gun 2 British ships with 8 - 12 cannons each, and the one cannon that the locals had salvaged off of the spy ship that they were defending. They eventually lost the ship, but it wasn't for lack of trying !!
