Buy nothing from Kotly.com they are not for any warranty claims. ceramics broke in my Atmos 32 GS after four months and they refuse to replace it.
although Atmos said they had to replace it.
this is the worst company I purchased from. they have absolutely no respect for their customers. the last time I buy from them. They have no cooperation with Atmos in the Czech Republic where they manufacture the boilers.

Sorry to hear that. I have the same boiler that you do. Kotly no longer ships boilers to the US so that probably isn't an issue. They did treat me very well with shipping etc. Randy

Sound like it's time to talk to the mfg of the boiler and try to leverage a replacement for the broken ceramics. Just for instance if the company that sells the unit goes belly up and your one year into a 20 year warranty isn't the mfg responsible? Just trying to wade through the mud...

Legal systems work differently in different countries.

Here we seem to have at least two, Kolty is Polish?

For example in the US there seems little responsibility on the retailer, and the Manufacturers responsibility is limited to the contractual obligations imposed by warranty and maybe a bit of State law thrown in there.

EU countries generally put prime responsibility on the retailer, they can not kop out.

Did the nozzle crack? If it is just fractured it will probably still work fine. I know after spending all that money this is not ideal. I was resigned to the fact that with my boiler I was on my own being in the US, Randy

Situations like these are exactly why I purchased an effecta lambda 35 boiler.

I am able to go directly to the manufactures website (www.effecta.se or www.effecta.us) and email a "real person" at the effecta factory. I have yet to see another European Manufactures website that is as professional and informative as the effecta website is.

They offer a 24 month warranty on everything (including wear items) and a longer warranty ont the boiler body.

I visited the effecta factory in Kungsbacka Sweden last summer and was extremely impressed with the boiler products they prodcue and the entire effecta organization. Effecta has been making boilers since the early 1980's and thus has a weath of experience.

I am equally as happy with my effecta lambda 35 I have been using since November and so are two other people I know who have the same efecta lambda boilers

I highly encourage everyone to check out these extremely well engineered, nice looking and long lasting boilers at the website mentioned above.

As a friend of mine once told me, "The bitter taste of low quality/poor service lingers long after the sweet smell of low price has fadedâ€.

With the heating season approaching the end of the tunnel perhaps you could cast your own nozzle? I have been looking into a diy gasifier suilted to my application (outdoor with ample idling time/summer dhw too) or reconstructing my EKO40 with a smaller nozzle. Here are some suppliers of castable refractory cement.

Effecta Boiler User:
I'm not a moderator here but I need to say my bit. You continue to thinly disguise advertising as advice on this forum. If you do it others will follow soon enough. Please don't corrupt our boiler porn! I don't see anyone else stooping to that level although many other very helpful people sure could. Please respect the rules of this forum and refrain from this activity. If your boilers are great I'm sure your happy customers will soon be chiming in!
