What can I use on simpson duravent pellet stove pipes on the joints to help them from freezing up. My cap is stuck on the end and I will destroy it getting it off. I was thinking about some grease but thought Id ask so I don't use something that will catch fire. Thanks

Go to the auto parts store and get a tube of Anti-Seize (also known as "never-seize"). Put a thin coating on the pipe parts to be joined....should make removal very easy. I use it on the T cap on the back of the stove. They also do make a "hi-heat" version, but I think it's not needed.
