Question:

Could someone please tell me what a "heatalator" is? I bought a home with one and have no idea how to maintain it. It was manufactured by FMI in 1989 and, its missing its glass doors. Any ideas where I could buy them? Thanks!

Answer:

Heatilator is simply a brand name...a company that makes many different unit. However, the term sometimes refers to double wall fireplaces of any sort, both masonry and prefab.

FMI is still in business and I'm sure you can find the doors from them.
