what kind of check valves?

I'm not a pro, but swing check is my call. A spring check valve would add lots of head to the system, perhaps enough to block circulation. A swing check opens easily. Be sure it is mounted in the proper direction for the swing valve to close when no flow is intended. Its intent is to prevent backflow with minimal impediment to forward flow.
 
thats kind of what i was thinking, really doesnt take much more than a whisper to open a swing check, with almost no blockage of flow. i am being pretty redundant putting in check valves, with all the gate valves and whatnot i plan on putting in.
