    That was my guess too! My sister in law saw them cutting it down in her neighborhood and grabbed a bunch for me!!!

    I have to vote for pine also. Very good firewood after long seasoning. Great for just cool weather or starting a fire in colder weather.

    Looks like ponderosa pine to me. Let it season and you got some heat.We used to let it season for a summer (in Az.) and it was good to go.
