Hi,
Planning for standing 500 gal tanks vertically. What size rim works best and how far does the rim elevate the tank off the floor.
I plan on using the drain holes at the bottom for return water so they should be up high enough to be out of the way of the rim. Trying to figure out how tall to make the ceiling for the shed that the tanks and boiler will be in.
The tanks are 10' long.
Thanks in advance J.T.

I used semi rims and a couple of tractor rims. Use what ever you can find cheap. I makes a difference what rims you use for the height so get the rims first. remember that the dome shape will set down in the rim so you will have to measure once you get the rim.
