We are about to raise the house and get a real foundation put in. The old central fireplace and chimney is coming out and with it the Quadrfire 1200i. The chimney is 82 yrs old, unlined and with very crumbly mortar. It would cost an additional $1500 to raise it with the house, so we've decided to pull it. When the house is set down on its new foundation we will add a new, insulated class A flue and will move the Jotul into the living room. That means we have a 5 yr. old 1200i for sale. It is in good condition and well maintained. Works fine. Any thoughts on what is a fair asking price? Best market for selling?

I think around 1000.00 is fair but when we had a conversation about used pellet stoves before it seemed that the concensus was around 500-700 was the max a person would pay for pellet stove in excellent condition.
