What's the difference - moisture meters

Does anybody have any insight into what the difference is between the inexpensive Moisture Meters that can be found at Harbor Freight for around 20 bucks, and these puppies at the HD for 150?

I know there will be a difference in quality, but is the cheaper one accurate enough for cord wood testing, or is just junk?

I got one of the cheapos last year, not sure how accurate it is compared to a high end one but it works fine for me. If you use it to compare, it will give you an idea on how your wood is doing.

What he said. Got one off ebay for $20 or something. Works well for what I need. Just remember we are measuring moisture from fire wood. Not the most reasont rock sent here from mars....

I'm sure the ones NASA use cost multi millions of dollars. Even if they get it wrong.
