Ballsy move if so.
Definitely. If you look closely, it's in random lengths, not cut as firewood. Just drive down a street, back up in a driveway with no car and dump. Act like you know what you're doing, no one will pay any attention.
 
Surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Probably not a mistake. A fly-by-night "tree service" that didn't want to pay the dump fee. One man's garbage is another man's firewood.;)
yeah but they dumped the chipped tops somewhere else.
at least respectable fly-by-nighter's
 
Wood fairy's gettin' lazy---softwood and not even split.
 
There would be no mistaken dump off if it were ash or oak.;)
