Hello to all,I need some help with some needed info.I have an old HS TARM oil and wood boiler. The only information i see on it is the date of 3/27/1978.I need to find out a model number atleast. I think it's either an OT-35 or an OT-50?All I could find is a spec sheet with the dimension listings,(neither of them seem to be an exact match?) Any help is much appreciated!

OT is a multi-fuel with oil (or gas
All the doors and burner are on the wide side of the boiler.

There was also an OT-28 and OT-75

New OT pic enclosed. Older ones had red jacket and flue in the rear.

Do you know where I can find a model # on it? If I burn wood do I need to adjust anything first? When i'm not burning wood the oil will kick in and take over ,right?

Try lifting the top cover off and looking for plate mounted to the boiler top....
    or possibly a stamp.

There should be a label from the test lab on the jacket also, but maybe yours predates this.

The folks at Tarm may be able to help you if you have the dimensions.

The majority of units sold in the USA were 35 and 50 models, and my recollection is that you could tell the diff by the center door on top - the one where you go in and move the baffle plate for oil or combo burning. That door was fully hinged in the 50 model, and perhaps slightly different (definitely smaller and maybe hinged differently) on the 35.

It may also be that the diameter of the DHW coil or tank differs.

Tarm USA may very well have them....to sell or PDF. I don't have one, but if I got ahold of one I would scan and post.
