The clips that retain the brass window trim on my Whitfield Advantage were lost. A replacement package is $45, so I'm wondering if there are any good alternatives. I tried a set of clips used to press a picture mat up against the front of a picture frame but they were too wide (at least the ones I tried). I'm hoping someone has other ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Craig

I used folded up aluminum foil. No issues for over 6 yrs.

I used some 500F high temp silicone in a few spots.

Just do it while the stove is cold, sit the trim back in location, tape in with some masking tape until it sets and your good to go.

The foil idea sounds good too.

I used the Hi-Temp silicone and it worked great, just use enough to hold the trim on in a couple of spots, not glob it on. bjr23
