I enjoy getting firewood. What I like best is actually getting it from the woods. Getting wood off my or my neighbor's property is a little bit of a disappointment because it means less time in the woods with a permit.
I suppose I could give up wood heat, give up fishing, give up hunting, and just pay others to provide everything for me. Maybe then I would learn to like garbage on TV, video games, facebook, and whatever else people do.
