C'mon hunting season!
The clowns that installed my insert did not install the insulation or block off plate. That is what I will be doing this spring. Where is a good place to buy the insulation as far as quality AND price. Any help would be appreciated as I only want to do it once...well actually never that is why I paid for installation but kinda late now.

I have to remove and reinstall my insert this spring. Who makes a good liner for 6 inch flex. I don't mind spending extra if it is worth it. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to add, hogwildz gave me one place but I was hoping for multiple opinions to see what else is out there. Is it better to have more than 1/2?

So are there that few people with insulated liners? I notice that the heat in the liner is heating my internal masonary chimney and giving heat to the attic, which in turn is melting the roof snow and creating ice damning. Hoping insulation will stop that as I don't need it to draft well.

I listed several other on your original post.
Next time, if you just google "chimney liner insulation", you will have more sites than you could ask for to choose from.

Merged threads. I'd say question answered with a great response. I have nothing to add when the original posting by Hog was spot on.

Thanks a bunch guys, gives me a lot of info!!!
