Who stole the Hampton from me?

Found an H300 hampton stove. It was new, still on pallet and not far away. After the guy finally got back to me, I said I would like to take it. It would fit perfectly in our house. He said I could come look at it today. I couldn't get there until 430, but he said he had 2 of them. He calls at 12 and say he sold both of them to a guy who came to look (I could wring this guys freakin neck, especially considering I told him I would have driven to his house last night). He only wanted $1000 each.
